KantanMT Analytics Provides Segment Level Machine Translation Quality Analysis
Dublin, Ireland (PRWEB UK) 29 July 2013 -- Xcelerator Machine Translation Ltd., is pleased to announce the forthcoming release of KantanMT Analytics. The innovative technology, developed in partnership with the CNGL Centre for Global Intelligent Content at Dublin City University, Ireland, will provide segment level quality analysis for Machine Translated output.
KantanMT Analytics assigns a quality score to translations which are generated by KantanMT engines. This means that users of KantanMT Machine Translation will be better able to predict project turnaround times and more accurately measure their ROI. The quality score is a numerical value, which predicts the score a translator would likely assign to the fluency and quality of a translation.
"Working with CNGL, our team have developed a truly unique capability", says Tony O’Dowd, Founder and Chief Architect of KantanMT.com, "developing a quality score for KantanMT translations will empower LSPs to build a solid commercial model around Machine Translation, akin to what Translation Memory fuzzy-match scores achieved in the early 80s".
KantanMT Analytics is being rolled out to a sample of KantanMT members throughout July 2013. It will be made available to all members of the KantanMT platform in August 2013.
Research for this project has been co-funded by Science Foundation of Ireland (SFI) in conjunction with Enterprise Ireland.
