Karma Rae Offers Support and Healing for Child Abuse Victims
Calgary, Alberta (PRWEB) August 13, 2013 -- According to Darkness to Light, a non-profit organization dedicated to ending child abuse in North America, adult retrospective studies show that one in four women and one in six men were sexually abused, which means that there are more than 42 million adult survivors of child sexual abuse in the United States. As the survivor of child abuse, Karma Rae knows that there are millions of children and adults who need help overcoming their abuse. In her new book, “It’s Just an Experience ... Get Over It!: The Spiritual Journey from Hurting to Healing to Helping” (published by Balboa Press), Karma Rae recounts her abuse and how she learned to forgive, heal and move on in order to help others.
