Kars4Kids and America Responds With Love Launch New Charity Program
Austin, TX (PRWEB) March 04, 2014 -- Kars4Kids, a national car donation charity, is partnering with nonprofit America Responds With Love, to provide children involved in custody battles with books, comfort pillows and stuffed animals. The books and toys will be distributed at PlanetSafe, a collaborative project of SafePlace and Travis County that allows children living in families with histories of family violence to have supervised visits between parents in a safe setting.
“The Kars4Kids mission is to provide children with whatever support they need to develop into productive and well-balanced adults,” said Kars4Kids spokesperson Mr. Morris Franco. “It’s in this spirit that we’ve chosen to partner with America Responds With Love, a nonprofit with a history of helping those truly in need in the most thoughtful ways possible.”
The Respond With Love Stuffed Animal Program will benefit the hundreds of youth, ranging from preschoolers to teenagers, who take shelter at PlanetSafe each year. These are children from difficult home situations and the program will help them find comfort and peace during a traumatic time in their young lives. Additionally, the books will give the older children and teens an enjoyable, educational and productive way to spend the time waiting in the facility.

The Respond With Love Stuffed Animal Program was made possible by the Kars4Kids Small Grant Initiative, an education grant from the Kars4Kids car donation program dedicated to supporting educational initiatives by likeminded charities.
