Kartz Ucci Retrospective to be Exhibited at The Art Gym
Marylhurst, OR (PRWEB) August 22, 2015 -- The Art Gym at Marylhurst University will present a large retrospective exhibition of the work of Kartz Ucci from October 4, 2015 to December 5, 2015. This talented and prolific artist passed away in 2013 at 52 years of age. This exhibition will celebrate her digital, text, sound and installation art. Ucci joined the University of Oregon faculty in 2004 and taught art and digital arts in Eugene and the White Stag campus in Portland. Ucci's work was included in the Portland Biennial in 2010, and exhibited in solo and group exhibitions in California, Oregon, Washington and Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
In conjunction with this exhibition, Kartz Ucci's 256 shades of grey will be installed at The Alexander Gallery at Clackamas Community College's Oregon City campus from November 9, 2015 to December 11, 2015.
