kCura Welcomes Lisa Arthur as Chief Marketing Officer
Chicago, IL (PRWEB) October 06, 2016 -- kCura, developers of the e-discovery software Relativity, today announced the appointment of Lisa Arthur as chief marketing officer.
Arthur joins the company as they prepare to launch RelativityOne, their new cloud-based offering, in early 2017. RelativityOne will be a SaaS-delivered version of Relativity, the platform used by law firms, corporations, and government agencies to manage electronic evidence in litigation, investigations, and beyond. Relativity has a community of over 140,000 users in more than 40 countries. The platform is used by more than 11,000 organizations, including 198 of the 200 largest law firms in the U.S., 73 of the Fortune 100, and the U.S. Department of Justice.
Arthur brings more than 30 years of enterprise software marketing experience to kCura. Most recently, she spent five years as CMO of Teradata Applications, a publicly held company that provides software solutions in marketing technology, data warehousing, big data, and analytics. At Teradata, she led the overall strategy, positioning, global brand awareness, thought leadership, acquisition and operational integration, and demand generation for the Marketing Applications division. She also held marketing leadership roles at Aprimo, Akamai Technologies, and Oracle.
“At kCura we are simplifying and accelerating how the world conducts e-discovery, and we’re excited to have Lisa on board to help us share that with the Relativity community,” said Andrew Sieja, founder and CEO of kCura. “We’re always working to improve the customer experience, and Lisa’s background will prove extremely valuable as we continue to innovate in e-discovery.”
Arthur’s appointment is the latest milestone for Chicago-based kCura. In April they appointed Jason Ream, formerly of SolarWinds, as CFO. kCura also acquired Content Analyst Company, a leading text analytics firm, in March to continue accelerating the development of their analytics solution for the e-discovery industry. Last year, kCura accepted their first outside funding, a $125 million minority investment from Iconiq Capital, to raise their level and pace of innovation within the e-discovery market, which IDC has estimated to be worth more than $10 billion.
“I’m thrilled to join kCura’s passionate team and unique culture,” said Arthur. “kCura truly puts their customers at the center of their business, evident by their impressive and enthusiastic user community who are driving and inspiring change in discovery and litigation processes. I'm excited about the opportunity for kCura and their customers as we continue to innovate the e-discovery market with RelativityOne. It’s a team, brand, and solution I knew I wanted to be a part of.”
Arthur joins the team ahead of Relativity Fest, kCura’s annual conference for legal technology professionals that will be held October 9 to 11 in Chicago. The conference is designed to educate and connect the e-discovery community through engaging panel discussions, hands-on labs, breakout sessions, and more.
