Kearny Bank Hosts Local Food Drive
Brooklyn, NY (PRWEB) April 18, 2017 -- The Kearny Bank Office, located at 689 Fifth Avenue, hosted a local food drive benefiting the St. John - St. Rocco RC Church. Over the past few months, the branch collected nonperishable food to help local families in need.
“Running a food drive to help fight hunger would not be possible without the support of our community and everyone who generously contributed,” Migdalia Velez-Mieles, Kearny’s Branch Manager said. “Our goal is to have the pantry shelves stocked and ready to assist residents with food insufficiencies,” she added.
Kearny Bank, a federally-chartered stock savings bank, has supported the communities it serves since 1884. The Bank has assets of $4.5 billion and operates 42 full-service banking offices in Northern and Central New Jersey and Brooklyn and Staten Island, New York.
