KegWorks to Sponsor Complimentary Screening of "Beer Hunter" at Pan-American Grill
Buffalo, NY (PRWEB) September 19, 2013 -- KegWorks, the Kenmore-based purveyor of Tools for Drinking, is proud to announce their sponsorship of a free screening of "Beer Hunter: The Movie" on Monday, September 23rd at 7:00 p.m. at the Pan-American Grill located on the lobby level of Hotel Lafayette in downtown Buffalo, NY.
"Beer Hunter: The Movie" is a documentary film that delves into the life and times of noted beer and whiskey journalist Michael Jackson. Jackson, who passed away in 2007, wrote several best-selling volumes on beer and whiskey and was also a highly-regarded reviewer of those same potent beverages. The movie, which takes its name from Jackson's deeply influential television show, is an homage to Jackson and the impact he had on the explosion of interest in craft beer and spirits around the globe and especially in North America.
David Rivers, KegWorks' President, says, "When the opportunity to sponsor this screening of 'Beer Hunter: The Movie' came up, I knew we had to jump on it. Jackson and his work were so vital to helping the craft beer movement take hold. One thing's for sure, anyone who loves beer owes it to themselves to come out and see this film."
"Beer Hunter: The Movie" is not yet in wide release, but exclusive screening rights for this area were purchased by KegWorks. The free showing at Pan-American Grill will be one of the first public viewings in the country, and is among the most anticipated events of Buffalo Beer Week.
