Kelle Sweeney Joins PetsPage as Operations Coordinator
Boise, Idaho (PRWEB) July 11, 2013 -- Karen Bostick, creator and founder of PetsPage.com, a social community for pets and pet lovers, with a primary mission to make pet owners aware of a higher level of veterinary care in the form of veterinary specialists that few pet owners know exist, and that can quite literally save pets’ lives, is excited to announce the appointment of Kelle Sweeney as Operations Coordinator.
At PetsPage.com, Kelle will be responsible for coordination of marketing materials, policy development for advertisers, product selection in the PetsPage.com store, and PetsPage.com member relations. Sweeney will also assist with the production of an exciting PetsPage quarterly pet photography book to include the most outstanding pet photographs submitted by PetsPage members. PetsPage members will have an opportunity to vote on the pet photographs included in the book.
After 7 years as the Assistant Director of Donor Relations at Colorado State University, Kelle elected to follow her heart and commit to a year of full-time volunteer service as an AmeriCorps VISTA, working with area seniors in Boise, Idaho. While serving with AmeriCorps VISTA, Kelle met PetsPage.com’s creator, Karen Bostick and was impressed with her passion and energy. They soon discovered a shared passion for pets and Kelle was thrilled when Karen asked her to join the PetsPage team.

Kelle Sweeney also previously served at Purdue University as the assistant to the director for President's Council/University Events and as the assistant to the dean of University Libraries at Northern Arizona University. She earned a degree in History from Northern Arizona University. Kelle and her Husband Seann are parents to 4 year old Jasper - an Australian Cattle/Australian Shepard mix dog. They live in Boise, Idaho.

PetsPage.com is an engaging social community designed to connect pet lovers with other pet lovers as well as veterinary specialists, other pet professionals and pet products in a fun, friendly and interactive way! PetsPage.com is in its final week of beta launch and the website will officially launch on July 15th, 2013.
During the development process of PetsPage.com, Bostick turned her beloved little Tinks into a social super star with her facebook pages - Karen Bostick & Tinks, We Love Tinks, and MyPetAdvocate.org, which collectively have over 135k likes and growing.
Prior to founding PetsPage, Karen Bostick was the President/Co-Founder of Blackwell King, a veterinary recruiting firm that specializes in the placement of veterinary specialists with veterinary specialty and emergency hospitals all over the world. During her tenure at BlackwellKing, Karen visited many veterinary specialty hospitals and attended numerous specialized conventions. She quickly realized she was not alone in her lack of awareness about veterinary specialty medicine and decided she must do something to educate fellow pet owners. Karen left BlackwellKing in early 2013 to begin creating her vision of connecting pet owners with veterinary specialists, and she’s really had fun creating new ways to incorporate more social features to attract pet owners to this important information.
