Kelser Closes Out Another Year of Giving
East Hartford, CT (PRWEB) December 09, 2015 -- Kelser Corporation and the Kelser Foundation proudly close another successful year of giving by raising more than $43,000 in 2015.
The Kelser Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Kelser Corporation, raised just over $43,000 in donations for a variety of charities in 2015. Kelser’s largest event, the Kelser Charity Challenge golf tournament, contributed $24,000 of that number. Beyond these funds, Kelser employees donated 17 boxes of clothing to the Vietnam Veterans of America, and volunteered at Hands on Hartford, preparing and serving 206 community dinners this year.
“Community is at the very core of the Kelser experience,” said Lisa Carroll, Marketing Manager at Kelser. “We believe in giving back and paying forward. Our growth is a result of strong relationships, good citizenship, and hard work as a team.”
Fundraising activities in 2015 included the Fight for Air Climb, ERRACE, Brain Ball, Walk to End Alzheimer’s, Evening of Fine Wines, No-Shave November, and more. Benefitting organizations were the American Lung Association of the Northeast, Alzheimer’s Association of Connecticut, Manchester Community College, Hartford Healthcare Cancer Center, First Way Life, American Cancer Society, St. Jude Children’s Hospital, and others.
