Kerr brings more than 25 years of human resources experience in the areas of research, executive search, career transition, talent acquisition and HR management.

Prior to joining the Laramie Group, Kerr was the North American Practice Lead for Executive Search of BPI Group. He possesses significant experience including leading the human resources function for a large engineering firm and 15 years of experience at Motorola in several positions, including senior HR leadership roles. Additionally, Kerr served as a coach with several career management firms.
Kerr has a Master’s Degree in Human Resources Management from Keller Graduate School of Management and a B.A. in Business from Loyola University of Chicago. He is highly connected to the HR professional community and serves as the group moderator for The Chicagoland HR Transition Group, an online community that facilitates career networking among HR professionals in the Chicago area.
