Kestrel Weather & Environmental Meters Debuts its New Line of DROP Wireless Temperature, Humidity and Pressure Data Loggers at International CES 2015

Kestrel DROP Loggers are the world’s easiest-to-use rugged temperature and humidity data loggers. With a Kestrel DROP, users can measure and track the conditions of most indoor and outdoor environments and easily access real-time and historical data on a phone or tablet. Kestrel DROP loggers are powered by the full-featured Kestrel Connect App available free in the App Store.
Kestrel DROP loggers transmit data up to 100 feet line of sight via Bluetooth® Smart to a user’s mobile device. With the Kestrel Connect app, users are then able to share real-time and logged data by email, text message and social media without any wiring or complicated setup. Simply place a DROP wherever you need precise and accurate readings.
There are three models of Kestrel DROP depending on the user’s measurement needs:
• Kestrel DROP® D1 – temperature
• Kestrel DROP® D2 – temperature, humidity, heat index and dew point temperature
• Kestrel DROP® D3 – temperature, humidity, heat index, dew point temperature, density altitude, station pressure and pressure trend.
All three models are available in red, blue and desert tan. All are completely water- and dustproof (sealed to IP-67 standards) and drop tested to military standards (MIL-STD-810G transit shock). Kestrel DROP wireless environmental data loggers can measure, store and transmit readings over a wide temperature range (0° to 140 °F, -18° to 60°C) and extended periods of time (up to six months depending on logging interval).
