Keyframe-Entertainment announces Electronic Music label release and sponsorship of various Transformational projects
San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) April 27, 2015 -- Keyframe has launched its music label with artists The Wisdom of Shankara from Lyttelton, New Zealand. Consisting of members Brendan Evans and Elijah Wilson-Kelly, The Wisdom of Shankara is an Electronic Music duo on an exploration through hypnotic bass lines, ethnic melodies, deep tribal energy and psychedelic dub effects. “Doors to the Digital Dimension” is their first album and release with Keyframe and is available on Apple TV and Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Doors-Digital-Dimension-Wisdom-Shankara/dp/B00RCH4MF8.
Keyframe sponsored the 2015 Lucidity Festival, Kindred Quest, which occurred in April 2015. Lucidity Festival LLC is a collectively owned organization dedicated to creating Transformational experiences for individuals and communities, a production company, a creative lifestyle brand, and an interconnected community of friends and family. Its mission is to strengthen community through the fostering of the following values: Participation and immersion in the artistic process, Personal growth and global healing, Awake and aware consciousness, Environmental and social responsibility, Family fun and creative play, Communal reciprocity, and Transparency. As Lucidity Marketing Director and Co-Founder Jonah Haas states, "Keyframe is consistently a supporter of media that is eye-opening, mind-expanding, and reality-shifting. I value the relationship Lucidity has developed with Keyframe as a result of working together on many projects, ranging from “The Bloom Series” to “ReInhabiting the Village” to Lucidity Festival."
In March 2015, Keyframe also sponsored ALIA’s “Feminine Medicine” Kickstarter campaign. “Feminine Medicine” is an original music album and stage show project created to showcase more female artistry in the Electronic Dance Music industry. The Kickstarter campaign successfully raised $20,305, surpassing its goal by $5355.
A San Francisco-based Producer, DJ, and Vocalist, ALIA is a long-time champion for women’s liberation and a former Marketing Executive who followed her passion for music. ALIA created her movement Femvolution to support other women to liberate their voice and passions by providing private coaching and mentoring support, and was also named a "Woman Changing the Planet" by ORIGIN magazine. As ALIA states, “Keyframe-Entertainment is a generous supporter of leading-edge musical acts and creative projects that are bringing something fresh to the Electronic Music scene. I have been blessed to be a recipient of their support, which was pivotal to helping me to exceed my fundraising goal for my “Feminine Medicine” music album. Keyframe has helped me expand my reach and receive some high-level attention for the project. I am deeply grateful to have them as an ally.”
Since Fall 2014, Keyframe has also been avid supporter of The Polish Ambassador’s “Pushing Through the Pavement” tour, made possible through a successful Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign that surpassed its $35,000 goal by $8760. The tour converged live music, local organizations, permaculture groups, sustainability educators, and gardeners to bring the know-how and skills to put the principles of permaculture into reality.
As of March 2015, Keyframe has also become an Associate Producer of The Polish Ambassador’s Permaculture Action Tour film. The film features footage of the first nationwide Permaculture Action Tour, made possible through an Indiegogo campaign, successfully surpassing its goal by raising $4400. The tour covered over 9,000 miles to 33 cities and 19 states, from San Francisco to New York City. In that time, tour videographer Zac Fabian documented the entire 6 weeks on video, with over 40 interviews with permaculture designers, educators, and practitioners in some of the most sophisticated sites in the country with much knowledge to share.
Keyframe is also partnered in the production of Festival Fire, a source of news and inspiration for the Transformational Festival community. The site features resources including festival guide, store, festival calendars, blog, and services. The Festival Fire Guide features over 100 festivals’ info and photos.
Keyframe is the Executive Producer of Andrew Johner’s 2011 “Electronic Awakening,” an ethnographic documentary film that features dozens of experts, visionaries, and published authors who explore the premise that “Electronic Music is spiritual technology that allows access to higher states of consciousness.” The documentary was filmed over a period of 5 years at events such as Burning Man, Earthdance, LoveFest, Moontribe, Wicked, Shambhala, the Boom Festival in Portugal, and garnered over 150 community screenings worldwide. As a longtime supporter of Transformational Culture projects, Keyframe remains dedicated to supporting projects that are part of the growing Electronic Music culture. As stated by Dr. Gino Yu in his 2014 Asia-Pacific keynote address on Transformational Music at the International Music Summit in Singapore, “...‘Electronic Awakening’ …makes the insight that Electronic Dance Music Culture today is the globalization of trance practice that has been happening around the world since the advent of man.”
