Keystone NAP Appoints John Cordisco Director of Site Operations
Fairless Hills, PA (PRWEB) July 29, 2015 -- Keystone NAP, the company responsible for launching the first advanced data center in the Northeast, today announced that it has strengthened its operations team with the appointment of John Cordisco as Director of Site Operations. Cordisco has 15 years of integrated systems and security experience. Most recently, he served as a supervisor, field engineer and project engineer for the Chicago Bridge and Iron (CB&I) San Onofre nuclear generating station in San Clemente, CA.
“We are very happy to have John on board as we prepare for our official launch,” said Peter Ritz, Founder and CEO of Keystone NAP. “His project management, client relations and electronic security experience in extremely demanding industries complements our advanced data center vision and will benefit our customers.”
At Keystone NAP, Cordisco is currently managing on-site construction and is responsible for design and functionality of the site’s security program. In his previous role at CB&I, Cordisco was part of a three-person supervisory team that managed more than 100 craft union workers. Before that, as a manager and programmer at several technology firms, he designed and implemented integrated systems for a range of industries, including: banking, healthcare, correctional, nuclear, sports entertainment, logistics, investment and emergency management. He is certified or knowledgeable in more than 50 systems manufacturers.
Cordisco’s record includes 10 years of nuclear industry-specific projects, where perimeter intrusion detection and systems security standards are comparable to those maintained at sensitive military installations. Cordisco previously served for four years in the U.S. Marine Corps as an infantry marksman and tactics instructor. He supported tactical positioning for operations staging during the Iraq War.
“This was a unique opportunity to join a cutting-edge team,” Cordisco said. “I’m excited to see the future of the company, especially with the clients – and type of clients – that we’re looking to onboard in the next 30 to 60 days.”
Cordisco began working at Keystone NAP in March 2015. For more information, please visit http://www.KeystoneNAP.com.
