Kia Motors Manufacturing Georgia and SAE International Take STEM Education to the Next Level in KMMG Communities
(PRWEB) November 02, 2015 -- Kia Motors Manufacturing Georgia (KMMG) and SAE International will host 500 students from Troup, Harris and Meriwether Counties, Georgia, and Lanett City and Chambers County, Alabama, in celebration of science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) learning at the Atlanta Convention Center at the AmericasMart on November 4, 2015. Come see students working as the engineers of the future through the SAE International A World In Motion program.

Since the beginning of the school year, students and teachers from the participating districts have been working in the classroom to prepare for the event where they will showcase their STEM skills for the community. “This event will be nothing like the science shows we all remember as students,” said Chris Ciuca, director of pre-professional education at SAE International. “Kia’s efforts to support STEM education in the region are beyond impressive. You’re going to see students engaging in a truly integrated STEM experience beyond anything you’ve seen before. Over 500 students will design, build, test and compete with JetToy cars on the day of the event.”
