Kicks Unlimited Leads Martial Arts Industry with New Concept
Fitchburg, Wisconsin (PRWEB) October 11, 2013 -- Kicks Unlimited Fitchburg will re-locate on October 19 in order to launch its new cutting-edge martial arts school. The new site provides nearly 7,000 square feet for the studio and is set on an acre of land. The ‘Karate-Kid-esque’ site also includes a Japanese Koi fish pond, walking path, outdoor training pagoda, and brand new one of a kind ‘Kicks Education Center.’
Kicks Unlimited has offered martial arts classes to kids, adults, and families since 2002. However, the addition of the ‘Kicks Education Center’ at the new location will change how students and families experience the martial arts. The Kicks Education Center will host monthly seminars with a focus on Asian culture, unique martial arts styles and history, as well as seminars geared towards health and wellness. Huett has even added a seminar for families who share his interest and experience as a professional stuntman in Hollywood.
“Teaching great classes and having a world-class facility are not enough for us at Kicks. I want to share nearly 30 years of experience in the martial arts with our students by giving them insight to opportunities that are highly unique and rare like my experience with the Power Rangers and travels to Japan. In addition to taking a great class, you can experience these educational opportunities, walk out to the Koi fish pond for some quiet time, or practice outdoors on our pagoda. I want to offer families great classes as well as great culture and learning.”
After the upgrade is complete Kicks Unlimited Fitchburg will be host to nearly 7,000 square feet and will be one of the largest martial arts studios in United States. In 2009, Huett traveled to Okinawa, Japan and says he plans to replicate some of the more traditional architecture found in Okinawa into the design at Kicks Unlimited. “We’ll have a very large training floor for classes, but I am most excited about the outside training area that we are building. In Japan there’s a lot of outdoor training and I want to bring that to Fitchburg.”
