Kickstarter Meets American Idol: Destination Fit’s Search For America’s Favorite Workout!
Austin, TX (PRWEB) February 18, 2014 -- Launched earlier this year, DestinationFit.com is David Norton’s take on spreading health & fitness and it already features some of Austin’s most prominent trainers. "I kept meeting all these amazing trainers with packed out classes and full schedules and I asked them how long it took them to earn a six figure income, but none of them had." Norton encouraged them to make DVD but "most had no idea how to even start, so I created Destination Fit. It's the perfect way for amazing coaches and trainers to reach a massive audience and be able to make a great living helping others." Trainers who upload an Audition Video compete to be chosen by voters and at the end of each Casting Round - an accumulation of 12,000 total votes - a winner is chosen and receives $5,000 and a production contract to star in their very own 90-Day Workout DVD Series produced by Destination Fit."
Destination Fit is not only about the trainer, however. Destination Fit offers full workout videos completely free to anyone visiting the site and looking to try something new. "I'm a trainer," says Norton, "I became a trainer to help people - starting with my mom. Now it's time to help millions more by empowering hundreds or even thousands of trainers to reach millions of people with amazing programs that get results. Look, i know i can’t reach everyone, even The Biggest Loser can’t do that. It's going to take an army of trainers equipped with video to connect to the masses and that's why i started Destination Fit."
Workout DVDs are not the only thing that Destination Fit will produce. each vote bought on destinationfit.com will come with points redeemable in the Destination Fit Store, which features all DVDs and Audition videos available for digital download.
With the site’s first Casting Round just under way, Destination Fit has hopes to announce the first winning trainer and create the first DVD Series at the end of February.
