KidPass Launches New Platform in NYC to Help Busy Parents Discover and Book Amazing Activities for their Kids
New York, NY (PRWEB) September 14, 2016 -- KidPass has announced the launch of their new platform, the first subscription service featuring the largest and most comprehensive directory of kids’ classes in NYC, available now to parents in all five boroughs of New York City. KidPass plans to expand to five additional cities including Los Angeles, San Francisco, Boston, Washington DC, and Chicago.
KidPass enables users to discover thousands of activities for kids of all ages and instantly book a class with just a few clicks. Parents no longer have to rely on limited word-of-mouth recommendations and can avoid the inconvenience of in-person registration, waitlists, semester-long commitments and scheduling make-up classes.
Since its January beta release, KidPass has become the fastest-growing website for kids activities in New York-- its customer base has organically grown more than 10x and over 1,000 parents have booked more than 15,000 activities through the website to date. KidPass boasts the largest partner network that spans almost every category, from sports, dance, art, playspaces, date-night drop-offs, music, museums, STEM and more. Over 400 leading providers including Gymboree, Kidville, NY Kids Club, Music Together, 14th Street Y, Chocolate Works, City Treehouse, Physique Swimming, TLB Music, and more are part of the KidPass network.
The company is founded by tech veterans Aaron Kaufman, Chhay Chhun, Olivia Ballvé, and Solomon Liou, who hatched the idea out of their own need as parents. “While technology has made it easy to instantly book taxis, restaurants, and dates, the process of finding kids activities is still very difficult and mostly done through word of mouth,” says CEO and Co-Founder, Solomon Liou. “KidPass makes it simple to discover and book amazing kids activities with the touch of a button. We want to help parents spend less time organizing activities and instead spend more time having fun with their kids.”
Reut Nathanel, mother of two children says, “As a parent, I always try to look for new and fun activities that help my children’s development, but it’s always a challenge because most require a 16 week commitment which is both time and money intensive. I love KidPass because my kids can try a huge variety of activities, which we can book, change or cancel at anytime. I feel like KidPass was created for the practical yet dedicated mom, and I can tell the founders were definitely thinking of us when they created this wonderful service.”
KidPass subscriptions start at $49/month. To celebrate their launch and the new school year, KidPass is offering parents the opportunity to try KidPass for just $19/month for the first month with code: KIDPASS19. Offer expires 9/30.
