Kids Comic Book to Forever Change the Way Tweens Explore Their World
(PRWEB) December 18, 2013 -- Ready to bring back the kid street culture of yesterday and make it today's reality? Of course you are! Keepers of the Lost Art has just launched its Kickstarter campaign for its curiosity-sparking comic book series that prompts tweens everywhere to use their imaginations while exploring their worlds.
The Los Angeles based company officially launched its fun-based, adventure seeking project on Monday, December 16th and will be running it for one month with the goal of raising $20,000.
How will the proceeds be used? Keepers of the Lost Art will use the funds to market and distribute its unique line of comic book and optimize its kids-only website, an online world specifically coded to allow kids to browse safely. At KeepersOfTheLostArt.com, kids can find classic games, experiments and other activities that spark the imagination and help them make the most of their time offline. The monetary goal will allow the company to present 100 fun and educational activities and to produce 20 instructional videos with kids as the instructors.
Keepers of the Lost Art's story line is based on a cast of ragtag kids who come together to bring back the lost art of being a kid. The series supports the theory that kids should be themselves by using their imaginations daily and creating personal worlds with peers through play - not to mention downright silliness!
Whereas the kids' website allows kids to find activities they can do by themselves with little to no parental supervision, the "grown up" version of the site offers an online space for adults to further understand Keepers Of the Lost Art's message and even provides a discussion forum for questions and comments. Not only that, but the site acts as a hub for the comic book's social media sites so that parents, grandparents and any parental figure with a special preteen in their life can find fun activities the whole family can share. Keepers of The Lost Art offers an enjoyable, interactive experience for everyone.
The Kickstarter project offers financial backers a variety of creative, one-of-a-kind rewards for pledging like a custom character rendering created by Italian comic book artist, Davide Susini and writer, Sasha Van Wie.
