Kidsunlimited Show Their Support for Parents
(PRWEB UK) 31 October 2013 -- Kidsunlimited knows how difficult it can be for parents to be separated from their children - and that's why it goes that extra mile to ensure its nurseries provide a comfortable and fun environment for youngsters that's almost like being at home.
National Parents' Week 2013 runs from October 21st to 27th, organised by the Family and Childcare Trust to celebrate the joint work of childcare professionals and parents. The theme of this year's National Parents' Week is 'Make One Change' - and childcare professionals are being asked to consider which change they could make to improve family life.
"We're fully behind National Parents' Week and it's great to see parents and childcare professionals coming together to recognise one another's essential role in raising healthy and happy children," said Andre Fallows, Divisional Operations Director for the kidsunlimited’s North Region. "We'll be working closely with families both during Parents' Week and beyond to ensure that we continue to provide the kind of childcare they've come to expect from us."
Through Make One Change, National Parents' Week 2013 aims to discover more about the small changes which make a huge difference to families' lives - including an examination of the adjustments which parents, childcare providers and employers alike can make.
kidsunlimited aims to work in partnership with parents, listening closely to their feedback - because kidsunlimited understands that the more closely childcare professionals collaborate with parents, the more children will get out of the time they spend at nursery.
When a child is learning new skills - such as the basics of reading and writing - parents need to be able to have full confidence that their childcare provider can offer the support they need, complementing their parental approach. That's why kidsunlimited's door is always open to parents - any parent who wants to drop in for a chat is more than welcome. Kidsunlimited nurseries also hold regular parents' meetings to keep families up to date.
