Kimbia Announces New Chief Technology Officer: Conleth O’Connell; Vignette Veteran to Lead Kimbia’s Technology Strategy

O’Connell has over 25 years of experience in Software as a Service (SaaS), enterprise and mobile technology. Most notably, O’Connell spent 7 years as the CTO of Vignette Corporation, a highly successful worldwide leader in the delivery of innovative and dynamic web experiences through its suite of content management, portal, collaboration, document management and records management software. He will be responsible for leading the company’s technology strategy and development team and will report directly to Dan Gillett, CEO of Kimbia.

He holds a Ph.D. in Computer and Information Science from The Ohio State University. In 2007, Dr. O’Connell received the Distinguished Alumnus Award from the same institution. Con is a published author, holds multiple patents across several technical disciplines and is a sought after speaker on Web technology, enterprise content management and social media.
