Malvern, PA and Louisville, KY (PRWEB) April 26, 2016 -- Dolphin Enterprise Solutions Corporation (Dolphin), an SAP partner and provider of solutions in support of SAP® software, today announced that it has been selected by Kindred Healthcare to standardize and optimize Accounts Payable (AP) processes across the company. Dolphin will deploy a suite of innovative technology and implement long-term process changes to assist Kindred’s recent transition to a Shared Services model.
Kindred Healthcare provides healthcare services in approximately 2,700 locations across the United States, including hospitals, nursing centers, and inpatient rehabilitation units. Dolphin was selected as its partner for this project based on Dolphin’s exclusive focus on SAP technology; its proven success with lowering costs, improving cash flow, and mitigating risk for organizations that process high volumes of invoices; and its ability to manage sensitive information.
The project will include key technology such as Dolphin’s SAP-certified Process Tracking System for Accounts Payable (PTS-AP), as well as other add ons including Advanced Approvals and Payment Request, which provide critical functionality and mobile access so executives can view, analyze, and approve payments while on the go.
“Kindred Healthcare has challenged Dolphin to transform its Accounts Payable operations, and we’re looking forward to implementing innovative technology and best-in-class process changes that will reduce invoice cycle time and create a more transparent environment,” said Brian Shannon, Chief Strategy Officer, Dolphin. “As an existing Dolphin customer, we’re thrilled that Kindred recognizes the reliability, responsiveness, and value we’ve brought to the organization over the years.”
“Dolphin’s prior success with Kindred coupled with its proven track record on large-scale Accounts Payable projects is what makes them the right partner for us,” said David R. Windhorst, Vice President of Financial Systems Development, Kindred Healthcare. “Not only will this project better position our Accounts Payable team in the present, but it will also make future potential growth seamless and easy to scale.”
Previously, Kindred has partnered with Dolphin to assist with the management and retention of critical human resources documentation.
