Kinesio Taping at the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics
Wynnewood, PA (PRWEB) January 28, 2014 -- Orthoco, Inc., a trusted dealer of medical supplies and equipment [Orthoco] since 1995, today announced that Kenzo Kase, the founder of Kinesio Tape and the Kinesio Taping Method will be in Sochi, Russia to provide Kinesio Taping services and educational "how-to" demonstrations at various polyclinics throughout the winter olympic games that will begin Friday, February 7th.
Kinesio tape is a breathable elastic adhesive tape used to treat many physical disorders and injuries include lymphedema, low back pain, and patellar strains.
Arranged with help from the International Olympic Committee (IOC) Medical Commission, Dr. Kase will be assisted by two Certified Kinesio Taping Instructors (CKTI) and about 90 Kinesio Taping Method Trainees. These specialists will be treating olympic athletes from all over the world at various polyclinics. The polyclinics will offer a wide array of medical, rehab, and diagnostic services, available to all athletes, under one roof for the duration of the games. In addition, the IOC Medical Commission has asked Dr. Kase to provide mini workshops to help train delegates, from all over the world, on the use and application of the Kinesio Taping Method.
