Bethpage, NY (PRWEB) February 28, 2014 -- After nearly 21 years of loyal and dedicated service to King Kullen, Bruce Capotosto, currently manager of the Selden King Kullen, will be retiring at the end of the month. Capotosto has served as a Manager and Assistant Manager in many King Kullen locations over the years. Director of Store Operations, Jeff Prince has commented that Capotosto is a “loyal, hardworking manager who is devoted to his job and to King Kullen. Anyone who knows Bruce knows the sincerity he brings to all of his dealings with customers and employees alike.” District Manager Ed Gargan observed that “Bruce has a great sense of humor. No matter how your day is going, a few minutes with Bruce, or a few stories from Bruce will help turn the day around. His positive attitude will be greatly missed.”
After over 25 years of dedicated service to the Company, Assistant Store Manager Frank Cama, currently Assistant Manager of the Levittown King Kullen, will be retiring in April. Cama has held multiple positions and worked in various King Kullen locations over his time with the company. Prince stated that “King Kullen is grateful for Cama’s dedication over the years.” Frank Vassallo, Assistant to the Director of Store Operations, observed that “Cama’s diligence and patience in addressing customer inquiries and concerns has been outstanding, serving as a model for other King Kullen employees with whom he works.”
Assistant Store Manager Tom Christian will be retiring at the end of February, after over 43 years of employment with King Kullen. Christian has worked in numerous King Kullen stores over the years, and will be retiring out of King Kullen’s Halesite store. Prince commented that Christian has “contributed to the success of King Kullen, and we have always appreciated his diligence and dedication.” Rich Francois, who is currently Christian’s Store Manager in the Halesite King Kullen, commented that “Tom is positive, patient, caring and sympathetic. He tries his hardest to please, and strives for perfection. Tom displays his caring demeanor on a regular basis. If there is a young child in the store that is being challenging, Tom will buy a balloon or cookie for the child to help make the shopping experience a positive one.”
With regard to the retirement of all three managers, King Kullen Co-President Brian Cullen commented that “the retirement of Bruce, Frank and Tom will be felt deeply throughout the company. All three men have contributed greatly to our success over the years. It is rare to find a company where employees have such extended lengths of service. Fortunately for King Kullen, the lengthy tenure of these gentlemen tends to be the norm, rather than the exception to the rule. On behalf of all of the men and women of King Kullen, I would like to say we wish all three gentlemen long, happy and healthy retirements.”
