Kinnser Software® Acquires ADLware
AUSTIN, TX (PRWEB) August 05, 2014 -- Kinnser Software, Inc., creator of the most widely used software for home health and hospice agencies today announced that it has acquired ADLware, a private duty specialty software company of San Clemente, California, forming a new product line called Kinnser ADL.
ADLware, launched in 2010, is a national leader in private duty home care software. Built from the ground up for private duty, Kinnser ADL complements Kinnser’s existing suite of best of breed, post-acute care software. This enables home care providers with multiple lines of business to choose a single software partner and allows agencies to expand their offerings and provide more services to the patients and clients they serve.
“Kinnser has had a close working relationship with ADLware and is pleased to add their best in class private duty software to our portfolio of home health, hospice and therapy products,” said Chris Hester, president and founder of Kinnser Software. “Many of our customers have asked for a private duty solution; and we are delighted to now offer Kinnser ADL directly to those customers. Most importantly, ADLware’s commitment to innovation, quality and customer service completely aligns with Kinnser’s established values and culture.”
“Joining the Kinnser Software family is an exciting development for ADLware,” said Michael McAlpin, founder and CEO of ADLware. “As the need for home care grows, both companies have witnessed the demand for a comprehensive home care software solution. As part of Kinnser, we will provide the most advanced and complete suite of web-based products available in home care.”
McAlpin will assume the role of Vice President of Business Development at Kinnser Software where he will maintain focus on the private duty market and utilize his industry expertise to help shape Kinnser’s strategy moving forward. The ADLware teams in San Clemente, California, and Provo, Utah, will remain in place and will become an integral part of the broader Kinnser team. Kinnser ADL will be offered as part of an integrated suite of post-acute care solutions and as a stand-alone solution for pure play private duty organizations to ensure the specialized features required by each market segment are maintained and enhanced.
Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
In 2014, Kinnser Software was named the 12th fastest-growing company in Central Texas by the Austin Business Journal and has earned national recognition by some of the nation’s most esteemed organizations including Inc. Magazine’s list of top 500 fastest-growing companies and Deloitte’s Technology Fast 500. With 170 employees and growing, the company also earned repeat spots on the Austin-American Statesman’s “Top Workplaces” list. Today, its web-based software solutions are transforming the delivery of post-acute healthcare nationwide, saving millions of dollars a year as the baby boomer generation ages and the home health market grows.
