Miami, FL (PRWEB) March 20, 2014 -- This summer, for the first time ever, legendary hard rock bands KISS and Def Leppard will pair up for an enthralling 42-city North American concert tour extravaganza that is certain to give double satisfaction to US rock fans who ”love it loud”. Def Leppard lead singer Joe Elliott stated that the idea of this joint mega tour was first considered in South America two years ago, when he and KISS bassist Gene Simmons took part in a successful rock-and-roll all-star concert tour. In 2012, KISS did a co-headlining tour with glam rock band Motley Crue. The 2014 KISS and Def Leppard concert tour is set to start on June 23rd in West Valley City, Utah and will come to an end on August 31st in Woodlands, Texas.

This year marks the 40th anniversary of the iconic and flamboyant heavy metal band KISS, famous for its elaborate stage performances, theatrical appearance and over-the-top pyrotechnics. KISS has already made history in rock as the recipient of 28 gold albums, the most of any American hard rock music. This summer the iconic American glam metal band will make yet again history as it joins forces with the legendary British hard rock band Def Leppard. Despite the ever-changing rock scene, both bands have stood the test of time and this year they are rewarding their US fans with an epic Def Leppard/KISS tour which guarantees an intoxicating atmosphere exuding ”rock n roll all nite”. The monumental heavy metal/glam metal band KISS will be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on April 10th, 2014, almost 15 years after becoming eligible.
The much-anticipated Def Leppard /KISS tour tickets will go on sale starting Friday, March 21st. For this explosive tour, Def Leppard and KISS are partnering with several military non-profit companies to support the US troops. According to Gene Simmons, a dollar for each ticket sold will be donated to the Wounded Warrior Project, Hire A Hero, the Augusta Warrior Project and USO.
