Kit Check Expands Sales Team with Industry Veterans of McKesson, CareFusion, Omnicell, Masimo and UMMC
Washington, DC (PRWEB) July 21, 2015 -- Kit Check today announced the addition six new sales team members including Armand Morrison as the new east region vice president of sales and the internal promotion of MaryAnn Jenson to the new role of west region vice president of sales. As Kit Check’s customer base has rapidly expanded it was necessary to add more sales territories to provide full coverage throughout the United States and Canada.
“We are very thankful for all of the new hospitals that have signed up with Kit Check in 2015. Because of rapid user growth for Kit Check and expansion into the OR with Anesthesia Check we have added to our sales team to better serve customers. Our goal is to provide industry expertise during the buying process to ensure each hospital can make an informed decision. In our recent hiring, we have added industry veterans from technology companies serving pharmacists and the OR and directly from the hospital pharmacy," said Doug Zurawski, Kit Check vice president of sales.
Adding Expertise from the Pharmacy and OR Technology Community
Armand Morrison joins Kit Check as the east region vice president of sales from McKesson’s Relay Health Division. He previously worked for 13 years with Pyxis Technologies under Cardinal Health and CareFusion and held a sales executive role at Cerner. Armand has developed extensive experience around improving anesthesia medication workflow, pharmacy efficiency and inventory management over the past 15 years. Beyond traditional pharmacy technology, Armand also has supported the implementation of EHR/EMR, HIE and population health solutions.
Another CareFusion alumnus with experience working directly with anesthesia providers, Robert Allen, is also joining the team as the sales director for the south central region. Rob was recently a business development and sales director at Choice Medical and previously held roles at Owens & Minor, Cardinal Health and Johnson & Johnson’s Ethicon Endo Surgery Division. He started his career serving the surgical suite at DeRoyal where he provided OR Management Software and critical care products for intensive care and cardiac catheterization labs. Rob’s experience supporting the OR offers him a broad perspective on how Anesthesia Check and Kit Check can improve medication tracking efficiency and safety.
The new sales director for the midwest region also has over 15 years experience supporting the OR and has conducted clinical work of her own. Denette Miller Cronkright started her career as a cardiac tech and later became a physical therapy assistant before moving into medical device sales roles that initially included a focus on products for anesthesia at Minrad. Her past experience also includes work for Covidien, Intuitive Surgical, and Masimo. In these roles Denette worked closely with surgeons and other OR suite care providers.
Craig Calcaterra joins Kit Check as the new southeast region sales director and brings nearly 30 years of experience working directly with the pharmacy and OR in adopting new technology. He recently worked with pharmacists to implement web-based electronic surveillance of medications and earlier in his career provided medical monitoring devices and supplies for cardiac, respiratory and anesthesia. Craig’s experience includes work for Cardinal Health, Zoll Medical, Philips Medical Systems, Masimo and Wolters Kluwer.
Richard “Rick” Lee brings more than two decades of experience in medication tracking and management in both the pharmacy and OR suite. He joins Kit Check after roles in sales leadership and account management at InterMetro, Omnicell, Pyxis and Swisslog. Rick has been at the forefront of pharmacy automation adoption and has developed expertise in pharmacy processes, medication inventory management and dispensing. He now leads sales for the north central region.
Adding Expertise from the Hospital Pharmacy
Jeremy Daniel joins the team from the provider side. Before coming to Kit Check, he served for nearly eight years in the University of Maryland Medical Center (UMMC) pharmacy, the past five as pharmacy technology manager. At UMMC, Jeremy oversaw numerous pharmacy technology implementations including an inventory management carousel system from Omnicell and IV workflow automation. Jeremy earned a six sigma yellow belt certification in 2014 and expects to complete his M.S. in Information Management at Johns Hopkins in 2016.
Kit Check also recently promoted MaryAnn Jensen to west region vice president. MaryAnn joined Kit Check in 2013 as a sales director overseeing the midwest region. She was instrumental in directing Kit Check’s rapid adoption by hospitals in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Ohio and Wisconsin. MaryAnn will continue to work directly with Kit Check users and support her west region colleagues.
