Koch Insurance Agency Announces Baltimore Area Charity Drive to Help Provide Food to Underprivileged Children
Baltimore, MD (PRWEB) September 20, 2017 -- Koch Insurance Agency, a family managed firm offering insurance and financial preparation services to communities in and around the Baltimore metropolitan area, is embarking on an extended charity drive to provide meals to children in the region struggling with food insecurity.
This charity event will be undertaken in cooperation with Generosity Feeds, a nonprofit group headquartered in central Maryland that organizes efforts to assist food challenged families through a program called C3Feeds. This program is supported by educators, businesses, and other organizations in the region, boasting more than 500 volunteers and providing more than 25,000 meals on a daily basis.
“It’s alarming that 47% of children in the Baltimore area face food insecurity, and our firm will be working closely with the Generosity Feeds organization to help provide nutritious meals to children in our community,” says John Koch, founder and general manager of the Koch Insurance Agency.
To help raise awareness of the growing problem of food insecurity in Baltimore, and to galvanize local support for the C3Feeds program, Koch and his team have scheduled a series of outreach efforts over email and social media platforms.
