Kognito Partners with NORC at the University of Chicago for Panel Discussion at INEBRIA 2015

Kognito and NORC will discuss their collaborative efforts to develop a simulation that will allow students to learn and practice how to effectively identify and curb substance use among adolescents during the session entitled, “Screening and Brief Intervention (SBI) Education & Training.” The INEBRIA conference will take place on September 24 - 25, 2015 at the Marriott Buckhead Hotel in Atlanta, GA.
Kognito will have Cyrille Adam Ed.M., Senior Director, Health Programs, along with NORC at the University of Chicago’s Tracy McPherson, Ph.D., Senior Research Scientist, and Eric Goplerud, Ph.D., VP and Senior Fellow, Department of Public Health Research, attending and participating in Friday’s Breakout Session #4 to share their research on the integration of adolescent substance use education into required coursework in undergraduate and graduate curricula for health professions. The session will be held from 2:45 – 4:15 p.m. EDT. All of Friday’s discussions will fall under the category of “Brief Interventions for Unhealthy Drug Use.”
