KPC Names PresenceLearning as a Preferred Vendor
SAN FRANCISCO (PRWEB) September 10, 2015 -- PresenceLearning has been named as a preferred vendor by KPC, a purchasing cooperative for Kentucky and neighboring states. As a result, KPC’s 170 member districts will be able to purchase PresenceLearning’s award-winning online speech and occupational (OT) therapy services at pre-negotiated prices through KPC’s procurement process.
Established in 2002, KPC is a joint effort of six of the educational service cooperatives to provide bidding and procurement services to its members. The organization chose PresenceLearning as a preferred vendor based on its scope of service, cost, references and experience. As part of the approval process, KPC examined PresenceLearning’s technology, ease of implementation, therapist qualifications, scheduling, reporting, and security features.
“Having successfully delivered more than 1 million sessions to students nationwide, we are committed to providing students with special needs the exemplary services they need to succeed,” said Clay Whitehead, Co-founder and Co-CEO of PresenceLearning. “Now, through our partnership with KPC, districts will be able to acquire our services using a more streamlined purchasing process and, ultimately, have the ability to positively impact the learning outcomes of more students through the use of online therapy.”
All KPC member districts can utilize the purchasing terms outlined in the PresenceLearning and KPC agreement. Therefore, districts do not have to administer their own request for proposals, are guaranteed the discounted pricing structure as outlined in the agreement, and are assured of PresenceLearning’s standards as a partner in providing online services.
