Kristin Maeckel Named Partner at Habif, Arogeti & Wynne, LLP

Maeckel is a native of Germany who specializes in advising multi-national corporations in the manufacturing, distribution and service industries, on U.S. tax planning and compliance. Kristin has 12 years of experience serving German inbound companies, including many start-ups, with their U.S. subsidiaries’ tax and accounting matters.
HA&W’s International services group has over 60 international professionals who speak more than 25 different languages. In addition, the group drives over 30 percent of the firm’s growth each year through services such as transfer pricing, international tax compliance, the structuring of foreign operations for tax efficiencies and the conversion of financial statements to U.S. GAAP and IFRS. Maeckel received the German equivalent of a Masters degree in Accounting at Universität Mannheim in Germany. She is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and is also actively involved with the German American Chamber of Commerce and the Advisory Council of the German Studies Department at Emory University.
