Kroger-Atlanta Division Customers and Associates Support MDA Shamrocks Program
Atlanta (PRWEB) March 12, 2014 -- Kroger-Atlanta Division stores are spreading the luck of the Irish by participating in the Muscular Dystrophy Association’s 32nd annual Shamrocks mobile program to help raise funds for local families affected by muscle disease.
Beginning March 16 through March 29, Kroger customers and associates can show their support for MDA by purchasing and signing $1 green and $5 gold paper mobiles at participating stores.
“Kroger remains one of the largest supporters of MDA’s efforts to provide much needed services and potentially lifesaving research to local families living with muscular dystrophy and related diseases,” said MDA Area Director Angela Brown. “Kroger associates and their loyal and valued customers continue to provide help and hope and it’s with their unyielding support each year that we are able to provide vital worldwide research, clinical care and support services for the families we serve."
This is the fourteenth consecutive year Kroger-Atlanta Division has supported MDA in the Shamrocks program. The funds raised through the annual campaign will help send area children affected by muscular dystrophy and related diseases to MDA summer camp.
The program also helps to support MDA’s worldwide research program and national network of 200 medical clinics.
