Krystyna Smutek of UHY Advisors, Inc. Named to US Advisory Group for Human Resource Management Standards
Chicago, IL (PRWEB) February 17, 2014 -- The US Technical Advisory Group (TAG) for International Standards Organization Technical Committee (ISO/TC) 260, a professional organization charged with the development of Human Resource Management standards has recently appointed Krystyna Smutek, HRIS Manager of UHY Advisors, Inc. as its newest member.
In an effort to coordinate the development of global Human Resource Management (HRM) standards, a US Technical Advisory Group ("US TAG") was established by industry leaders. The US TAG consists of representatives of organizations across various interest groups, including but not limited to general interest, academic, government and consulting/legal. These organizational members develop the position of US based organizations regarding any HRM standards being developed at an international level. This committee also proposes their own HRM standards for global adoption.
US TAG is composed of human resource professionals that represent and work in the human resources field across the country. They help create and put into effect local HR standards that eventually become accepted as global best practices. These professionals, all of which are experts in their fields, collaborate in the development of accepted standards.US TAG Members are charged with developing the United States' point of view toward any global standards under consideration, and ultimately advise the United States' ISO representative on this matter.
