Kumon Math and Reading Center of Levittown, NY holds 2nd Annual Award Ceremony
Levittown, NY (PRWEB) June 17, 2015 -- Kumon Math and Reading Center of Levittown, NY hosted its 2nd annual awards ceremony on Sunday June 7, 2015 at Levittown Hall in Hicksville, NY. Awards were given in many categories honoring students’ academic achievement in both the math and reading comprehension program. Over 250 parents, grand-parents, relatives and friends attended the ceremony. Kumon North America was represented by Manhattan Branch Office Manager Sinu Mathew and Field Consultant Keith Zimmerman. TV Asia’s Community Roundup was also present and covered the event for their viewers. After the presentation the students and families were treated to dinner and a show performed by Mad Science-Long Island.
Kumon is the world’s largest after-school math and reading enrichment program. Students of all ages visit the Kumon Center twice each week after school. The result of this extra study is stronger independence and concentration, greater confidence and improved math and reading comprehension skills.
