L-3 Cincinnati Electronics Joins the Hosted Payload Alliance
Deerfield, IL (PRWEB) May 11, 2015 -- L-3 Cincinnati Electronics has joined the Hosted Payload Alliance (HPA) as an Associate Member, HPA announced.
L-3 Cincinnati Electronics joins HPA member companies ATK, Airbus, Arianespace, Boeing, COM DEV, Eutelsat America Corp., Harris, Inmarsat, Intelsat, Iridium, Lockheed Martin, Raytheon, SES, SSL and Thales Alenia North America. HPA represents satellite operators, satellite manufacturers, system integrators and launch service providers, as well as other interested parties.

The role of hosted payloads has become more prevalent due to the flexibility and modularity inherent in the approach to accomplishing the mission.” The HPA will provide us a critical avenue between government and industry,’ said Mark Dapore, general manager and vice president of space electronics.

HPA is a nonprofit satellite industry association established to serve as a bridge between government and private industry, fostering open communication between potential users and providers of hosted payload capabilities. HPA focuses on education, awareness and developing solutions to common challenges.
