L-com Launches Cross-Polarized, Low-PIM, MIMO Panel Antenna
NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. (PRWEB) March 31, 2016 -- L-com Global Connectivity, a preferred manufacturer of wired and wireless connectivity products, announced today that it has introduced a cross-polarized low-PIM DAS panel antenna.
L-com’s HyperLink® brand HG72708XWPPR-NF is a cross-polarized, directional wall mount MIMO panel antenna that is specifically designed for in-building wireless networks including DAS applications. The HG72708XWPPR-NF can provide coverage ranging from 700 MHz to 2700 MHz in a single antenna package. This enables it to support various networks including cellular 4G/LTE, Personal Communication Services (PCS), and 802.11b/g/n wireless networks. Combining many frequencies into a single antenna eliminates the need to purchase separate antennas for each wireless network type, simplifying installation and reducing deployment costs.
“Cross-polarization and simple installation make this DAS antenna ideal for providing wireless coverage in large, open areas such as indoor courtyards, indoor sporting venues, convention centers and shopping malls,” said Ken Burgner, Product Manager.
The HG72708XWPPR-NF features two independent antennas with cross-polarization, which doubles the wireless capacity over the same channels. The antenna is fed via two plenum-rated antenna leads terminated with N-female connectors. One antenna is +45° polarized and the other is -45° polarized, making this antenna ideal for polarization diversity systems.
With a PIM rating of <-150dBc, the HG72708XWPPR-NF is also low-PIM rated and meets the most demanding PIM requirements for the LTE/4G bands.
