La Mesa and North Park Boot Camp, Fit Body Boot Camp, Supports Breast Cancer Awareness Month by Launching “Bootcamp for Boobies”
San Diego, CA (PRWEB) October 18, 2013 -- October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and to show its support, the popular Fit Body Boot Camp in North Park and La Mesa have decided to launch a special fitness program designed to help people burn fat while raising funds for the non-profit breast cancer research organization, Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
For the month of October, Fit Body Boot Camp La Mesa and North Park is offering their 14 Day Fat Furnace at each location for a discounted price of $27 (originally priced at $77). The program includes two weeks worth of boot camp sessions, a fat loss meal plan to help participants burn even more fat, and the motivation and accountability that people need to stick to a new routine. All proceeds collected from the 14 Day Fat Furnace will be donated to help fund breast cancer research.
Owner and operator of both the La Mesa and North Park Fit Body Boot Camps, local fitness expert JJ Brawley, said he was inspired to launch “Bootcamp for Boobies” because he has personally been affected by the disease and feels that it is important to get involved whenever possible. He explains, “My mother is a breast cancer survivor, and my Aunt Vicky Died due to this disease. It is our duty to make sure that all of our mothers and daughters and sisters, the very people who give us life, are well taken care of.”
Helping people to lose weight, tone up, and improve their lives since 2003, Brawley has a fitness background in yoga, gymnastics, and martial arts as well as holding a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from San Diego State University with an emphasis in fitness, nutrition, and health.
