LA Outdoor Movies, Food Truck and Live Music Event Series to Show “Super Troopers” on Saturday, July 26 with Performance by Opus Orange in Santa Monica
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) July 21, 2014 -- LA’s premier outdoor cinema event series, Eat|See|Hear, will show the cult comedy, “Super Troopers,” at the Memorial Greek Amphitheater at Santa Monica High School on Saturday, July 26, 2014. The film begins at 8:30 p.m. and is preceded by a live musical performance by LA band Opus Orange at 7:00 p.m. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and a variety of local food trucks will be at the event serving up some tasty street food.
The school is located at 601 Pico Boulevard in Santa Monica with the only entrance to the event located on 4th Street between the school’s athletic track and the DoubleTree Hotel. This location has limited seating and previous events held at this Santa Monica location have sold out. Eat|See|Hear recommends purchasing tickets in advance online and arriving early to secure a good seat. Blankets and cushions or pillows are also recommended.
Paid parking is available in the Civic Center parking structure across 4th Street at 333 Civic Center Dr. and sometimes the DoubleTree Hotel offers parking, too. Both parking lots are independently operated. Street parking may also be available, however, Eat|See|Hear cautions moviegoers to pay attention to street signs to avoid getting a ticket or being towed.
LA food trucks at the event include Steel City Sandwich, Vizzi Truck, Burnt to a Crisp Texas BBQ, Umami Burger, Ta Bom, Coolhaus, Brasil Kiss and more.
“This event is going to be a hilarious good time. ‘Super Troopers’ follows five Vermont state troopers who are also avid pranksters that must band together to solve a crime. Paired with tasty street food from our assortment of LA food trucks and an indie pop performance by Opus Orange, this is more than just a movie -- it is going to be a truly enjoyable and entertaining evening,” said Sharon Sperber, executive producer of Eat|See|Hear.
