LA’s Most Anticipated Food and Wine Event, "Cultivate LA," Takes Place September 28, 2013 at a Breathtaking New Beverly Hills Estate with Special Guest Chef Curtis Stone
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) September 19, 2013 -- United Friends of the Children is partnering with Los Angeles' most renowned culinary talent to present the fifth annual Cultivate LA. The premier food and wine event, hosted this year at a private hillside estate that boasts breathtaking views of the LA skyline, will take place on the evening of September 28, 2013, to benefit local foster youth.
Cultivate LA showcases signature dishes from more than 40 of Los Angeles’ most celebrated chefs and restaurants, including Brendan Collins (Waterloo & City), Thomas Keller (Bouchon), Josiah Citrin (Melisse), Joachim Splichal (Patina), Laurent Quenioux (Bistro LQ) and Vartan Abharyan (Cliffs Edge).
This year, the event also welcomes Curtis Stone, an internationally known chef, TV host of Bravo’s popular culinary competition Top Chef Masters, entrepreneur and New York Times bestselling author. Curtis published his fifth cookbook, the New York Times bestseller What’s for Dinner?: Recipes for a Busy Life, in April 2013.
Locals and visitors alike will have the opportunity to experience the cultural diversity of Los Angeles's culinary scene within this spectacular event setting, paired with some of the best California wines including Margerum Wine Company, ZD Wines, Justin Vineyards, Landmark Vineyards, Pali Wines, Rangerland Wines, Inman Family Wines and a special pouring selection from the famous Hitching Post Restaurant in Solvang, CA.
Rounding out this exciting event will be a silent auction showcasing an incredible once-in-a-lifetime trip to New Zealand, staying at two breathtaking resorts, Kauri Cliffs and Huka Lodge, with first-class airfare provided by Delta Airlines.
