Lake County, MT, Office of Emergency Management (OEM) Commits to ADSi
Southaven, MS (PRWEB) October 05, 2017 -- ADSi is pleased to announce that Lake County OEM has committed to ADSi. Lake County Office of Emergency Management (OEM), is located in Polson and encompasses a huge area around Flathead lake. They felt hamstrung with an outdated legacy based system by Swift. The Lake County E911 dispatch started looking for solutions by first finding out what public safety software companies would work in their area.
As Lake County is the gateway to Glacier National Park. Lake County OEM wanted a software company that would not only work for a small county during the winter months (a full time population of 29,000 residents), but also a more robust system that would help manage a large county because during the summer months there are over a million visitors who flow into the area for recreation and vacations bringing with them plenty of big city issues. They also needed something that was affordable and a vendor willing to enhance their Records Management System (RMS) to suit their needs.
After a great deal of leg work and a few site visits they found ADSi. ADSi develops Public Safety software only, and has been developing software since 1981, and that they were under the same ownership, same management, since their inception. Lake County OEM liked their stability, and that they were not interested in growth via buy out or selling the company to an investment firm. This landed them on ADSi and they found that ADSi took customers based on their direction and forward thinking progressive policing policy.
Over the years Lake County OEM has found that the software that we are using was lacking critical functionality, and is not integrated to the level we needed any longer. We needed a single unified software platform where we could share information with our sister agencies and associated communities we want to help increase officer safety. ADSi offered us a yearly subscription so there was no huge lump sum offering, so we were able to ease into a brand new CAD & RMS system.
The ADSi software will encompass dispatching 911 CAD, complete Police and Sheriff RMS, and Fire reporting software.
Lake County Emergency Service is looking forward to implementing ADSi software by all county agencies, from Lake County E911 to Lake County Sheriff Office, Polson Police Department, Ronan Police Department, all Volunteer Fire Departments, EMS, Fish and Wildlife and Lake County Jail.
