Lake Trust Credit Union to Hold Komen Ride for the Cure Kick-Off Celebration, Onsite Registration
Brighton, MI (PRWEB) June 15, 2016 -- On Thursday, June 16, from 4 - 7 pm, Lake Trust Credit Union, as presenting sponsor of the 2016 Susan G. Komen ® Michigan Ride for the Cure, will host onsite registration at the Credit Union’s Brighton headquarters, located at 4605 S. Old US Highway 23. Kick-off attendees who register during the event will receive a $10 discount on their registration fee.
“We’re welcoming our community, neighbors and friends - anyone and everyone - to come out and support this important cause that affects so many individuals and families,” said Lake Trust Vice President of Community Development, Chris Pearson. “Putting an end to breast cancer is certainly near and dear to our hearts, and a mission that we know so many in our community, and beyond, support as well.”
Thursday’s event will also include door prizes, refreshments, giveaways for gift cards donated by local organizations, and free onsite bike fittings by D&D Bicycles and Hockey.
Representatives from Susan G. Komen will be onsite to answer questions about breast cancer, The Ride and registering. The Ride for the Cure, scheduled for July 16, will start and end at Brighton High School.
