Lambda Announces the Availability of Moodle 2.6 Managed Hosting

For Administrators
One of the most important new features in this release is the bulk course upload feature, which allows administrators to import a .csv file with unlimited course information to Moodle. Each course is automatically created and a course template assigned on upload. Improved course categories allow finer categorization from broad topics such as “Science” down to “Biology” and then subcategories such as “Cells”, or “Proteomics.” Create any number of categories at any level to organize courses.
For Teachers
The new Single Activity Course Format supersedes SCORM in this version. The SACF allows teachers to assign activity type by course page, offering a more flexible scheme than in the past. New features make it easier to provide feedback to students and to edit courses on tablets and with smart phones.
For All Users
This version embeds the industry standard TinyMCE editor into course interfaces that require composition. The expandable editor makes formatting and adding media to assignments simple and easy.
