Lark Adventurewear’s Natural Wicking Activewear for Infants Surpasses Kickstarter Goal to Keep Little Ones Dry and Fashionable
PITTSBURGH, Penn. (PRWEB) March 06, 2017 -- Lark Adventurewear’s Kickstarter campaign to raise funds for their infant activewear has raised over $15K, surpassing their funding goal. Pallavi Patil, founder, marketing professional and mother herself, designed this activewear using special capillary thread that pulls moisture away from baby’s skin.
Lark Adventurewear comes in five styles, including the basic footie, colorblock footie, basic romper, colorblock romper and bodysuit. Lark is designed to wick away moisture from babies using natural chemical-free fabric, and will allow babies to stay cool while outside. The Oeko-tex Standard 100 Certified ensures that Lark’s fabric is safe from harmful substances and environmentally friendly.
“I’m incredibly proud to bring the Kickstarter community a brand of baby activewear that’s perfect for playing outside and keeping little ones cool and stylish at the same time,” said Patil. “As an active parent with an adventurous baby, I was frustrated that there wasn’t something similar to adult workout gear for my son. He would get uncomfortable and sweat, which would cause us to head indoors after a short period of time. Our goal is to create fashionable attire that keeps curious kids comfortable. It’s exciting to have a community that’s just as passionate as we are about keeping little ones outdoors and exploring the world around them.”
Lark outfits are designed with easy-open top snaps and bottom-to-top zippers to make diaper changes easy for parents and comfortable for babies. The team decided to avoid polyester and focus on natural fabrics that are safe for babies.
Early adopters of Lark Adventurewear can pre-order outfits on Kickstarter for $25, which is nearly 30% off the market retail price. For more information about Lark Adventurewear, visit http://bit.ly/LarkKS.
