Larson Electronics LLC Releases a New LED Garage Light Featuring an Emergency Backup Battery
Kemp, TX (PRWEB) June 09, 2017 -- Larson Electronics LLC, a leading industrial lighting company, announced the release of a new LED garage light with an emergency battery backup to be added to its expanding catalog of products this week. This quick hang mount garage LED has been designed with a battery back up for up to 90 minutes of run time in emergency situations.
This emergency LED garage light features an IP65 waterproof rating and possesses the ability to be used in or outdoors, as well as, in confined spaces without operators having to worry about heat buildup. This 45 watt LED can be operated on a range of voltages, from 100V to 277V AC and has been designed as a replacement for 175 watt metal halide garage lights. The LED technology provides operators with 100,000 hours of operation and is ideal for applications such as, but not limited to: garage lighting, monuments, docks, warehouses, large parking lots, gas stations, carports, loading areas, commercial buildings, schools, public areas, and security systems.
A battery back up unit has been added to this LED garage light to add emergency functionality. This emergency battery back-up will run one bulb at the standard UL suggested 90 minutes after power is lost at 3,500 lumens. The light then recharges the battery once electrical power is restored. A switched leg for turning the light on/off without kicking the unit into emergency mode is also included.
