Larson Electronics LLC Releases New ATEX/IECEx Rated Explosion Proof LED Fixture
Kemp, TX (PRWEB) August 30, 2017 -- Larson Electronics LLC, a leader in industrial lighting, has added a new explosion proof LED fixture designed for illumination in hazardous locations under ATEX/IECEx Zone 2, 21 and 22. This fixture emits 5,375 lumens of flood light and is ideal for Oil refineries, petrochemical plants, offshore rigs, warehouses, garages, commercial buildings, fuel transfer terminals and more.
The ATEX-HALP-24-ITG is a heavy-duty LED explosion proof fixture that is ATEX/IECEx Zone 2, Zone 21 and Zone 22 rated, for hazardous locations and harsh conditions. The LED lamp is built with non-sparking materials reducing the risk of potential ignition in an explosive environment. This explosion proof fixtures housing is constructed of glass fiber-reinforced polyester resin offering IP67 protection. All of the sealing components of this light are made of silicone foam gaskets, and the cover is constructed of unbreakable polycarbonate. Additionally, this hazardous location LED carries an IK10 impact strength rating, making it ideal for rugged handling and rough environments.
This 52-watt unit emits 5,375 lumens of white light with a flood beam pattern for maximum coverage and visibility, and operates on 220-240V AC or 220-250V DC. Providing up to 103 lumens per watt with a color temperature rating of 5,000K and a CRI rating of 80, this fixture is powerful and efficient for a huge variety of purposes. This explosion proof, ATEX rated LED includes flying leads, both ingoing and outgoing, with two 1-inch hubs to complete electrical connections. It also comes equipped with a pair of stainless steel ceiling and wall mounting brackets that allow the lamp to swivel in 15 degree increments and can be attached to a mounting rail for versatile positioning.
