Las Vegas Water Authority Approves Rate Hike: Sales of Artificial Foliage Spike

Bill Thomas of Las Vegas covered the entire inside retaining wall in his backyard with artificial boxwood hedge mat. “The wall just looked ugly, and I was wondering for years what to do with it.I saw this artificial hedge online and saw how easy it was to install, so I just went with it. Now that it is up, I couldn’t be happier,” Thomas said.
The Las Vegas Water Authority maybe has good reason to raise the rates, but that only gives their customers more reason to cut consumption. Artificial foliage is an increasingly popular solution to many a resident of Southern Nevada for this high priced water crisis.
