Latin GRAMMY-Winning Duo Gente De Zona to Headline Hispanicize 2015 Closing Night Bash at Fillmore in South Beach
MIAMI, FL (PRWEB) January 20, 2015 -- Latin GRAMMY-winning Reggaeton duo Gente De Zona will headline Hispanicize 2015’s Closing Night Bash on Friday, March 20, 2015 at the historic Fillmore in South Beach. The ticketed event will include performances by additional Latin artists whose names will be revealed next week.
In addition to their Friday night performance, Gente de Zona will be participating in an exclusive artist panel at the Intercontinental Hotel in downtown Miami as part of the Music Track of the event earlier that day. Pitbull’s record label Mr. 305 Inc. will be the host of this exclusive panel (For tickets to Hispanicize Event panels + sessions, please visit http://www.HispanicizeEvent.com).
Long popular in their native Cuba, Gente De Zona’s song with Enrique Iglesias "Bailando" catapulted them into the international arena. In addition to “Bailando,” in 2014 Gente De Zona collaborated with many Latin artists creating such chart-topping hits as “Tu Me Quemas” with Chino y Nacho, “Yo Quiero” feat. Pitbull and “Ella Me Dijo” with Maffio and Henry Santos. The group reached official breakthrough success when they won three Latin Grammys and were nominated for three Premios Lo Nuestro awards. Gente De Zona’s new album will be released in early 2015.
General admission tickets for the closing bash will be sold to the public via Ticketmaster.com starting Wednesday January 21st. Hispanicize Event badge holders will not need to purchase tickets as their event badge allows them complimentary access to the concert and exclusive VIP seating.
Announcements of confirmed headlining and indie music acts will continue to roll out through the rest of January. This year’s Hispanicize Event aims to cover all genres of music, from bachata, reggeaton and electro pop to rock en español, indie rock, salsa, tropical, and Latin pop.
