Lazydays RV Names David Gatchell Internet Sales Director
Tampa, FL (PRWEB) December 22, 2014 -- Lazydays, the RV Authority and world’s largest RV dealership, announces that David Gatchell has joined its rapidly growing team as Internet Sales Director. With more than a decade of sales experience in the automotive industry and a deep understanding of the customer’s internet buying needs, Gatchell will help bolster the online sales department at Lazydays. He and his team of trained internet sales specialists will oversee the online buying experience.
According to Ron Fleming, Lazydays Vice President/General Sales Manager, internet sales have skyrocketed across the RV industry over the past few years. Lazydays is dedicated to providing RVers with an enjoyable experience whether they shop online or at the dealership. Many RVers want to research their purchases online before going into the dealership. Lazydays offers an easy-to-use, updated website that gives shoppers what they need to make informed buying decisions.
“We are thrilled to have David Gatchell join our team as Internet Sales Director,” said Fleming. “For many of our customers, the Lazydays experience begins on our website and we want to make sure they are well taken care of. We are pleased to have David on board to guide the online buying experience for our customers.”
Prior to joining Lazydays, Gatchell worked, most recently, as the Internet Sales Director for AutoNation Nissan Brandon. Under Gatchell’s direction, the dealership made great strides in their online process and earned recognition as the number one performing internet sales department among AutoNation’s 14 dealerships in the Bay area for 2013. Gatchell was previously employed by AutoNation’s Lexus of Tampa Bay where he worked in various capacities and was their Salesman of the Year for 2008. Prior to working in the automobile industry, Gatchell practiced law for more than twenty years in New York and Tampa.
“I am extremely excited to join the growing team at Lazydays,” said Gatchell. “The internet experience is so important to today’s shopper and I am thrilled to be joining the world’s largest RV dealership. This is a company that has built a reputation on recognizing and addressing the crucial needs of their customers.”
Gatchell is a graduate of the University of Florida and the University of Florida College of Law.
