LDM Global Announces Sponsorship of ReTree Steamboat program
Steamboat Springs, Colorado (PRWEB) September 29, 2015 -- LDM Global is excited to announce its sponsorship of the Yampa Valley Sustainability Council’s ReTree Steamboat Program for 2015. LDM Global, http://www.ldmglobal.com, is an eDiscovery and computer forensics firm. It moved its headquarters to Steamboat Springs in 2012.
“Culture is very important to us at LDM Global, and giving back to the community is part of that culture,” said Director of HR Stephanie Gremminger. “We strive to have a healthy work-life balance, provide fresh, organic fruit in the office and really make work a fun place to be. In fact, fun is one of our core values."
“We were attracted to the ReTree Steamboat sponsorship because our leadership team believes in getting out into nature through hiking, skiing and encouraging employees to take a break from our computers to relax outdoors,” Gremminger said. “Steamboat Springs has been such a wonderful, welcoming community to us, and we wanted to give back to the community through a sponsorship of this wonderful program.”
In addition to the monetary sponsorship, LDM Global employees will volunteer at the final planting session of 2015, which takes place Sunday, Oct. 4.
ReTree Steamboat was founded in 2010. Since then, the YVSC has engaged more than 2,000 volunteers and planted and cared for more than 23,000 trees. The program also works to teach responsibility for forests, including educating students in local schools.
“ReTree Steamboat is a way to connect community with our local forests, and we could not achieve this without support from the community,” said YVSC Executive Director Sarah Jones. “We are thankful to local sponsors, like LDM Global, New Power Fund and Mt. Werner Water to make ReTree Steamboat a reality.”
