LDM Global Launches New Internship Program
Denver, Colorado (PRWEB) February 25, 2015 -- Today LDM Global announced the launch of its new internship program. LDM Global, which offers litigation support services to law firms and corporations worldwide, has a variety of roles available for those interested in the legal or eDiscovery fields.
“Our internship program is flexible and allows interns to gain a global understanding of the eDiscovery field while also being tailored to the specific interests of each individual,” said Jennifer Holt, director of professional services and business development. “Creative, detail-oriented and technical talent is a necessity for the eDiscovery industry as it continues to evolve. We are pleased to help develop those skills in young professionals in our communities.”
The paid internships are open to current undergraduate students, graduate students or recent college graduates. Time limits are flexible, but interns should be willing to commit to at least 6 months and be available to work in the Steamboat Springs, Colo., or London offices.
Emily Liebman was awarded the inaugural internship through the program. She started with LDM Global in October for a six-month term. A 2014 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a bachelor’s degree in political science and history, Emily plans to attend law school in the fall.
“The knowledge and exposure I have gained surrounding eDiscovery is indispensable to litigation in the 21st Century,” Liebman said. “Paper has been supplanted as a primary mode of communication by myriad forms of electronic communication, including email, mobile and social media. As an aspiring lawyer, I am fortunate to have developed skills at LDM Global that will undoubtedly help me navigate the many legal and technological issues pertaining to eDiscovery."
