LEAD Recovery Center Celebrates Second Anniversary, Expands Services
COSTA MESA, Calif. (PRWEB) July 01, 2015 -- LEAD Recovery Center, formerly known as Hired Power Breakaway, has announced that it now provides intensive sober living in addition to outpatient extended care for addiction and mental health issues. Located in Costa Mesa, Calif., the program is celebrating its second anniversary this month of supporting young men during their transition from rehabilitation and other treatment programs to a healthy, real-world lifestyle.
“The transition from rehab to one’s home environment can be fraught with challenges and triggers for relapse,” explains Rick Zumwalt, MS, PhD Candidate, and Clinical Director for LEAD. “Our program focuses on providing treatment during the gap between learning and living.”
LEAD Recovery Center offers clients the opportunity to develop life skills and learn how to balance work, school, family and activities in their recovery. The program specializes in addressing maladaptive coping mechanisms and behaviors, and assessing levels of socio-cognitive functioning, neurodevelopment, and cognitive executive abilities. Treatment is individually based and led by licensed and certified professionals. Education planning and adventure therapy are incorporated to help re-engage and reenergize clients during a critical transition period.
“The LEAD Recovery Center offers much more than traditional sober living,” says Zumwalt. “Upon completion of our program - usually six months to a year – clients are following a fully autonomous lifestyle and their life trajectory is moving toward increasing social, economic, and psychological responsibility.”
LEAD Recovery Center can accommodate 16 young men in its new sober living environment, and proudly accepts most major insurances.
